Accommodations:

Our house is second from left in the foreground
Last time I taught in Cambria some of the students stayed locally in Cambria itself in an inexpensive motel, one student car-camped, and several rented other houses right in our neighborhood so they could be close but completely private.
I highly recommend Cambra Vacation Rentals (www.cambriavacationrentals.com) if you are looking for private housing.
Here is the site for those who want to camp with their car or RV: http://www.aaacambriamotel.com/camping.htm
The nights to reserve rooms are Sunday through Thursday nights, April 25 through April 29
Early birds can reserve rooms in our house above the rocks. There are two roooms available and you must rent for all five days.
Others can car camp, stay in cheap motels in Cambria itself, or rent
their own places in the neighborhood through CambriaVacationRentals.com
Our house which is located directly on the rocks a block from the East-West Ranch, a nature preserve, consists of two parts. One part has a massive media room and smaller bedroom with bath, and two single beds. No view.
The other part has a kitchen and sitting room with a great view over the rocks and water, and has two bedrooms and two or three baths (the downstairs bath has a door in the middle and each side has a toilet and shower/tub).
The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, no view.
The master bedroom, upstairs, is very large. It's got a hexagonal skylight and huge windows overlooking the rocks and waves. A very large bathroom with separate tub and shower. A small balcony.
The building was designed around 1970 and definitely has a rich-hippy look and mid-century aesthetic. Kind of like Frank Lloyd Wright meets hexagonal bumper cars.
Naturally everyone will have access to the kitchen.
The address is 2431 Sherwood and you can look it up at www.cambriavacationrentals.com
If you decide to take one of the rooms in our house, the master bedroom is $145 a night and the queen bedroom downstairs is $100 a night.
The twin-bedded room is $110 a night and is perfect for two students who are friends. It's first-come, first served.
